Curator Se Charcha

Venue: Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum

At 12o clock in the noon, every day at YAATHUM OORE, YAAVARUM KELIR Exhibition, Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum or at 6oclock in the evening at Art entrance gallery in Kala Goda, you can find me sitting in the corner quietly reading a book on Mahatma Gandhi. You are most welcome to take a seat next to me. We exchange cards, introduce ourselves and ….let’s start the Charcha. I must confess that I am not a person with an exceptional intellectual ability; I am just a little more than an enthusiast. I would like to talk about my kind of curation and photography with you and talk to you about the philosophy behind the curation and my understanding of photography with you; at the same time I would like to hear about your kind of photography and your understanding about the images in the exhibition. We may disagree, debate and confront each other.

You may neither be a photographer nor a person who keeps any knowledge of photography. You may hail from literature or religious or academic background or be a cultural activist; it is not a problem. Important is to have a dialogue on Photography. You can stay as long as you want to and bring over your friends and relatives.

We will walk around the gallery and talk about the images and if you like we can take a self-portrait and post it to the social network using # focusmumbai

Open Thursday to Tuesday, 12pm – 5pm; Wednesday, closed. Also closed on certain public holidays. On 22 March exhibition viewing is open until 4pm, on 26 March exhibition viewing is open until 3pm
