BlowUp Bombay

BlowUp Bombay

March 14 in Chuim Village/Khar with projections on Carter Road

BlowUp Bombay is an outdoor photographic intervention by blindboys.org, bringing exhibitions and projections to the street of Bombay. Spread over the city, the exhibition explores the intersection between the street and photography. Blindboys.org is an experimental space which looks at photography in South Asia in a collaborative, critical, curative and independent manner.

BlowUp uses the Internet and social media to help you take your pictures, design an improvised exhibition where everyone is invited to come and display their work on the streets together with other photographers. Over the last 5 years blindboys.org has organised 15 blowups in Bangalore, Paris, Siem Reap, Delhi and Bombay – displaying works from over 150 photographers and 5000 pictures.
